Super Jet More power, uh oh?

hey guys, I have been riding for about 1-2 months now, I have ridden bikes my whole life. Both trial/road, I have picked this up extremely easy, I'm not saying I'm good by any means..
I can submarine, fire hose, 180 and powerslide/drifts just the basics.
I have found lately, I really do want more pop, I would love to have more acceleration.
BUT I don't want to make the reliability go down, I don't really want to touch the engine. At the moment I have a b-pipe, grate, d cut plate, stainless impellor. Everything else is pretty much stock.
I really want to make it clear, I want acceleration, I don't care for top end speed on stand ups.

I have been told by a few people, get aftermarket arrestors/filters.
Is there anything else I can add for more pop/jump. Is setting up trim worth it also?

am filters are about as useless as a man with tits

i rock them just because they look cool

ive felt the most light switch mod to a stock motor was a tbm light weight flywheel but that will set you back 600$ but it gives crazy acceleration you can buy cheaper lite flywheels but none compare to the tbm
but again thats my opnion

Steering upgrades. Make a huge difference in ride comfort. Then I would go with a lightened flywheel and ignition. MSD or EPIC. After that, get a hull

There isn't much you can do without touching the engine.
Get a total loss ignition and a properly set up magnum pump. Get a lithium battery. Lower the weight as much as you can.

What prop do you have? Stock exit nozzle diameter?

195psi feels great IMO.

AM flame arrestors are a complete joke. I hope it was a not a X member that told you that garbage.

Indeed, but milling the head could be fast cheap and easy depending on the machinist. But I think 195psi is girdled head territory, I think

I'll start off with saying, thank you everyone for your thoughts.
I have been thinking about touching the engine, but I just love the reliability of them stock.
I am in australia, so I can't get a hull very easily, I have been looking for them for about 2 months. Not one has come up for sale.
If I did touch the engine, how much reliability am I actually loosing? I am not 100$ sure, if anyone can really judge that, but Maybe a comparison eg. stock 100 hours, heads done 60 hours.. <<<<-- Was just a example don't take seriously

Something that I found and I have just put on mine that gives it more pop is my Jet Works Flow Valve.... I have it set @ 1/4 throttle and no more loading up my water box and well worth 50 bucks

Have your engine built by a reputable shop that knows what they are doing and you'll get power AND reliability

I would really find out what prop you have....and what diameter exit nozzle.

Porting is a bolt on but you have to unbolt, ship out, wait, pay big $, bolt back on.

I love stock ported 701's with high comp and dialed in pump! IMO it is more than enough in 4 to 6 footers. If you have some garbage 14/18 on there with a stock exit nozzle I would hate it too! Bouncing off of rev limters SUCKS too. Nothing worse that hearing that as you attack the lip of a wave and your skis falls on its face. MSD enhancer?

Keeping the waterbox dry at low R's is very noticable to me too (flow control valve).....but nothing you are really going to LOVE....just helps a little at the base of a wave.

MAybe I missed it, and its been asked, but if you have a OEM impeller, a nice 9/15 Hooker impeller for $230 would make an instant difference to your low end. No touchy motor either!

Do the stock exit nozzles have enough wall on them to get them opened up?
