Anybody rides there? What can you tell me more about it?
Is there a launch Ramp or you do it right at the beach?
Is it a cool place to ride or should I just keep going to Pismo?
I have been to Pismo several times already, just looking for more waves.

Thank god for snowboarding, anyone can ride anywhere and the locals show the good out of town riders where the goods are. Its all in pride.

so who are the morro bay locals? and why does it matter so much??? who is it that you are respecting by not riding there (or vice versa)???

I went to this place once with my folks when I was very young......There was some old dude taking photographs off the bluff where we stopped..

not pictures, but photographs

this was in 1983

anyone care to guess who it was?

sorry guys, its a locals only spot. dont try to go ride there anyways because you dont know where its ok to ride and will probably get hassled and maybe get our spot shutdown because of it. pismo is a MUCH better place as far as ease of launching and not getting hassled.

lol...nice stanton!

you guessed it

I still dont understand the whole "dont ride there, have some respect" argument

whats not to understand??..riding jetskis in the surf is illegal..besides that it is extreamly frowned upon by pretty much everyone...why go somewhere where u are going to cause trouble when you can drive 30min down the road and ride where nobody cares?? idok, do u take your ski out at first peak Sebastian inlet when the surf is pumping??....didnt think so..trust me if one of the local surfers has a problem with you riding there they will be sure to let you know and i can guarantee they wont put it as nicely as i did...might even catch a beating .he asked a question and got an honest answer...and i meant have respect for the surfers, surfspots and people that live there....you guys are lucky u can even ride at pismo

there was everything to understand seeing as you didnt bother to explain in your first 2 posts...

your first 2 posts basically translate to "because I said so"

and no, I dont know the exact geography of all your riding spots...and where it is cool and where it is not to ride because of the law, surfers and local ijits---here, we have very lax laws regarding surf riding

I dont ride at sebastian.......compared to what we have, that place blows

surfers dont get as mouthy here as they do in other places.......florida is one of those places that getting mouthy will get you shot..too many people here with CCW permits

as far as the first peaks of the day....way I see it, first come first served!

btw by "first peak" sebastian inlet i was referring to the peak closest to the pier or whatever where all the pro's/ripper surf

and our laws may be strict here but they dont really enforce them..i dont even have reg #s on my ski....but if u piss off the right people maybe they will start enforcing them..

there is only 1 peak at sebastian...thats why it blows!

same here about the reggies........we just find that if we do a good deed every so often with the skis in tow the cops actually wave us down to chat and say hi

here's another hint, they were in black and white

I wasn't really trying to play a "guess it" game.
I am asking a question. What technology was he using to take his "photographs"?
Duerrographs?
Photographic plates?
Old silver film?

:dunno:
