I'm hearing rumors of all Yamaha pwc sold out on east coast?
I called my dealer and asked about a ex limited and vx deluxe and they told me they were sold out of every new yamaha pwc-
My friend call 10 dealers looking for gp1800 and can't find 1
Whats everybody hearing?

I would say this is true. Dealers in New York had to refund money because they took down payments but did not get enough units in for everyone.

My dealer I just bought my Superjet through said that they're sold out of pretty much everything; watercraft, atvs, side by sides etc. They won't even sell trailers by themselves because people buying skis need them. They've sold 300 Sparks for 2021 already, incredible.

Accurate. Nothing until 22s this summer and even that supply is limited from what I was told.

It just seems to be Yamaha, dealers have plenty of Kawasaki's and Seadoo's
I've heard a lot has to do with the storms in Texas and that's where Yamaha gets materials from.
It's crazy to think dealers will have no stock to sell all season

We are about to have a shortage of Hardwood Flooring Adhesive. The plant in Texas is still not up running. So no Glue Production.

Yup, stupid Texas, LOL. We were told there’s no resin because of the Texas plants are still down from the unexpected freeze so all of the western pvc pipe plants are shutting down. Nothing but gasketed pipe and SCH40 will be produced for the rest of the year with millions of feet backordered.

I sell pwcs for a living. The used market is insane because the new ones are non existent. Basically if you didn't put a deposit on a new runabout in 2020 you will not see one until 2022.

we have customers that come in who have spent weeks looking for a new one.... I try to stock most all current year models or at least newest body style of every ski.

ive heard of a few dealers that didn't take deposits, but are selling their new inventory first come first serve at $2,000 over msrp plus fees.

My local Yammy dealer said the same here in southeastern Ontario Canada. Last month they had about 3 new skis left in their undelivered inventory, maybe 4 atvs, and just a few boats. They have to rely on service and accessory sales now to carry them over until next year's shipment. They still haven't received all of this year's product and it's basically all sold before it even became inventory. I hesitated on buying a WaveRunner but glad I did now. They had a one owner, always maintained and in prime condition 97 GP760 come in, they reluctantly accepted it on trade because they don't work on 2 strokes anymore but they know me and knew I was possibly on the market for one. After 2 weeks of considering it and seeing how everything in the used market has been getting totally scooped up I broke and bought it lol. It's a completely insane phenomena to see everything pretty much vanish as soon as it comes up for sale. The powersports market has never had this kind of craze in my life time. A friend of mine was just telling me about his neighbor buying a 2008 Suzuki KingQuad 500 with only about 560 kms on it (350 miles), it was mainly used for collecting the mail at the end of the driveway by an old fella...retail list in 08 was $8400 up here, he dropped $6800 on it. The owner had to remove the ad the first day it went up because he was getting on average 50+ calls and messages an hour about it. This craze is completely unlike anything I've ever seen.

Same Resin issue with roof coatings and paint right now.
