I think RV has the best chance but I am pulling for Mike Alessi. That guy should just quit racing and teach holeshot techniques. He was the only one giving JS a run at the win the first half of the season last year.

yeah, RV is totally the smart money bet.

I would love to see Alessi contend though too. I don't think he's got RV speed though. RV just looks so aggressive when he's riding. He chewed through alessi's +:16 and then pulled a gap on top of that. Crazy.

Reedy will be up there more often. He didn't really train/test for outdoors and had just gotten back from a vacation. mightve been a little ill-prepared for outdoors?

J-Law had a bad crash last week too and was just putting around. Expect him to be a up front too when he's on his game. J-Law is a beast outdoors.

RV ALL DAY! my buddies were at Glen and said it was insane!

said Reed didnt look to comfy....which is expected since he hasnt rode OD in like 2 years. i guarantee you reed is also only riding cuz james is not.....

pretty sick Mike Brown got 7th. still holdin it down.

Pourcel was killing it 1st moto in Lites.

i hope Alessi gets ran over again. if he doesnt do anything but awesome this year I bet he will lose his ride with Suzuki too.

does anyone know any good moto sites for any video or pre/ post race stuff, or even to watch the whole race -ive got the typical ones lucas oil one and the monster one alli seems to b cool

That's the smart money (RV and Dungey).

I'm going for some underdogs.

It'd be really dumb to bet against RV, so, the 450 class is out. I think RV will even have Reed covered when Reed is back up to speed. James will be a good points equalizer when he races tho, so the season should be good. You gotta figure james will be 1st place when he rides, so that might help keep the points close from RV running away with a big lead and demoralizing the rest of the top 5 pack.

As for the 250's, I'm going for Barcia. He's new, he's sick, he's the underdog, I've watched him come up through the AM's, and I think he's got what it takes. A 6th overall on his first pro-race after leading a ton of laps and grabbing holeshots on a track he's never ridden before? WHAT! watch out 250's, here comes the sneak attack!

.....and then there's J-Law... i can't wait till he's healthy and out of trouble.. if those two things can ever happen at the same time... :squint:

that was a great video! that track looked pretty gnarly! ours gets beat up like that by the 4th or 5th moto of the day. :drive:
