I was thinking about total loss. I allready have an aluminum flywheel, how much does total loss add to that.?.?.? Why is total loss bad in the salt?

I am thinking next rebuild will get some mild porting.

I may get the carbs done up somewhere, maybe GroupK maybe Novi modded...I am curious about the fuel consumption.

I don't think I will get the ignition. It is a lot of $ for a part with no warranty that can crap out at any time.

Dont mess wuth total loss unless you feel like charging your battery all the time, and all that crap. It can be a headache. Try water injection, blowsion uses it on some of their wet piped sxrs and its probablky for a good reason. I use it with my dry pipe and it is one of the best things I have done for low end.

I'd say carbs and some reeds. Might want to use stock true bore carbs and carbon reed petals for stock reeds. That is the cheapest & easiest way to go.
I might be selling a set of Tim Z force modded stock carbs. Pm me if interested.

I rode Tim's limited back in 04 with these carbs, could not believe the power it made........

I don't think I want carbon reeds.. don't they only last about a season. I ride about 3 seasons worth in one.

I may get those stock worked over carbs... pm me a price. My carbs are beat to sheeeot. I don't want to drink too much more gas. I'll be filling up every 20 minutes!

Ignition adds big gains huh???? I might look into that. Easy install? Does it make it hard to tune? What ignition did you put in?

I am on my 3rd-4th season on a set of carbon tech's that I got used from Tricky.......... they still look great, no fraying..........
