Yamaha OEM 'couch' clean used freshwater mounts 19.95/ea.

They are not just for couches anymore!

Superjet 'Alternative' Motor Mounts. Many freeriders (including the Maniac) are using motor mounts from a Yami couch in their Superjets. Superjet mounts were designed for the 650 motor, but these GP style mounts are beefier with more metal to rubber surface area. Proven strong in the surf for years.

These will fit a SN or RN superjet and have the same angle, but they are a little taller. Adjust them outward in the hull before tightening and use less or no shims. Alignment in some hulls require slotting the holes inward or belt sanding the bottoms.
(must clearance kenny keepers to fit them)

Blowsion Kenney Keepers
View attachment 371067

Designed in conjunction (and required) by Blowsion Pro Freerider Joe Kenney, “Kenney Keepers” are a must have for any hardcore surf or flatwater invert artist riding a Yamaha SuperJet or SJ drivelined a/m hull. Each set contains a left and right side front mount retainer and extended stainless hardware for install. The unique close tolerance design retains the front, “top heavy” weight of the engine block from being flexed or thrown forward during flat out maneuvers, or inverts. Since this is a common occurrence, we have also found them to be excellent insurance to help from having to replace those expensive engine mounts again. Anodized blue or black- Each kit includes left and right contoured brackets, stainless mounting bolts. Fits all years Yamaha Super Jet.

These are Bomber strong and another quality product from Blowsion freeride.
Blowsion Kenney Keepers $75./set

Also in stock for Kawi.

Hey mate (Chris?) Do you have some kind of bushing to fit my VXR please? The holes are 1/2 inch in my 'new' ones but my OEM bolts are 5/16th (6mm).
I need 8 of 'em.

Which mounts are still available and do not require grinding to fit? I have only had reliability with OEM, but looking to save some money. Whatever brand I have pictured on the left it way lighter and softer then the OEM one (pictured right). All I know is my motor is shimmed correctly and these ones do not last. They separate from the base plate quickly. The rubber feels way softer than oem.

I think if you want to stick with OEM motor mounts which I also want to do, im going to run the sit down motor mount. According to the post theres two different oem version SJ & Sit-Down Mounts.

Im also definitely going mto install the Blowsion Kenny Keepers because that weight transfer makes total sense and would make the motor mount basically hold the entire load plus weight of the engine. You need that too far stopper which is basically what they are and what they do. Instead of ripping the rubber off the mount it will hit the Kenny Keppers and it can't move any further forward or up.

The Kenny keepers only stop forward motion of the motor, not vertical.
I prefer the rhaas mounts, I use them in all my skis and have never had one fail.

OEM on the left in your pic, a/m mount on the right.

Do the keepers work with the sitdown motor mounts?

Yes, but need some clearancing to fit the couch mounts.
