Motor Mounts and Mid Shaft Question

I'm two parts away from starting the Chan build! Just a few quick questions hopefully someone can help me on - Is there any other motor mounts that will work for a SJ mounting system of than OEM SJ ones it self? And also same for complete Mid Shaft set up (coupler, shaft and all) I've been browsing the for sale section scouting parts and I can open up the options here on what to look for, I'm sure id have the parts in no time.

I also did shoot Jetmaniac a quick PM for the price of new complete Mid Shaft just in case I can't find used.

Motor mounts - RHAAS, Cold Fusion and a few others.
Mid-Shaft - Used OEM or the best bet is to just deal with JetManiac. He will answer all your questions and is awesome to deal with.

Does Jack's hull have a setback engine? Mine did and used a gp 800 midshaft.

Nice - I keep seein pics of orange Chans floatin around……kinda wishing I would have done something different now.

Good call, I'll have to see. I texted Jack. By the way, a good friend of mine on lake Stevens who is helping with building the ski, knows Parker and said he knew you! Haha

Judging by the picture of your hull you could start an "assemble" thread rather than a "build" thread. It looks awesome, and looks like all the tough stuff is already done. IE: turf, bypass locations, handle pole bracket mounting holes, and I'm guessing it comes with a shoe installed. I'm jealous..

Yeah it'll go in as an assembly/build thread because the parts are from my FX1, but there will be one no matter what.

Nah it's all good man! I can't wait to see how this thing turns out. Snagged some SJ motor mounts today from a buddy and got conformation on Blowsion order being sent out. Order to Chris (Jetmaniac) going out soon!

Didn't see any one mention it, but oem couch mounts will work too. They are the same angle and a bit stronger.
