Okay so here's my issue. I bought a am hull, that was built for a gp1200. So the mounts for the engine are are out 3-4 inches longe then 701 series. I have made mounting brackets, they are ugly as poop. Any suggestions? Is there a template or anything I could go by to lines these hull mounts up to where I need them?

Yea I'm going to run a stock sj tank. Just seeing if anyone has moved the hull mounts before. Or just clean these up and use them

First a question: GP1200 in a BOB????
Besides that, just do what you are doing. Put pump and midshaft in, Get good alignment and clearance then drill and tap those plates.

Haha yes someone did it. I picked up with hull from Quebec. Apparently the ski ripped. It looks like I'll be making it look pretty and leave it this way. I was hoping I could find some sort of template or if the boys at hurricane industries could help me out.

Maybe with that heavy motor it didn't ride nose high. I don't see it being a good backflipper with such a heavy engine.

Looks like your headed in the right direction to me.

You can tell the difference in the 1100 blaster and 701 blaster. One sits lower in the water and handles different.

I didn't understand the whole gp1200 in a stand up tho. If it wasn't for race purpose. You'd have to do a lot of work to tune it to get her running for freestyle

You are correct, makes no sense for freestyle, waste of time and money. Maybe they were trying to turn a bob into a sxr killer....lol
