Freestyle Motor options. Help.

Had a 650sx. Put a small pin 750 bored 1.5mm, 175psi head, dual 40mm SXR carbs, 650 stator and flywheel. Ran both PJS and fully modded and port matched oem exhaust. 9/17 skat prop. It was good, for a kawi motor. It was not good compared to a Yami 701 based motor. I sold it and have been super happy ever since.

Sounds like yami is the way to go
 
So with putting in a 61x, what other components would i need other than the motor, ebox, intake and exhaust setup. Like driveline wise, as i have an x2 driveshaft for my pump but thats about as much as i have, so maybe a different bulkhead bearing? And conversion midshaft? Or will i need a new driveshaft altogether?

I have run several Yamaha swaps in x2s and Kawasaki engines as well.

By far and away my favorite was a Yamaha 760 bored 2mm over (I think) with high comp head,, lightened stock 61x flywheel and 61x electronics, freestyle porting and a TNt copy c4 chamber.

That ski was a 100% absolute monster. Power for days. Great top end, outrageous bottom end.

It died in the garage... had a pin hole wire in the start stop harness I didnt know about. Rinsed the ski after riding, went to dinner. Came home to a house full of 2 stroke smoke and a x2 that ran until it had seized.... RIP my friend.

All depends on your fab ability and how much you want to spend.

Dang shame to hear about that man spunds like a killer ski, i just want to get a 61x with a head and probably a wet pipe wity stock electrics for now but if i find a good deal on some electronics i may take it
 
There use to be a guy in Lousianna that had several of the PJS Supercylinder motors, these were 800cc motors. if you could find something like that. HPT had a stock of Kawi Aftermarket Cylinders, Think they were Able Cylinders. May want to check with him. May be a decent option or a DASA Kawi based setup..........

How do I get ahold of hpt I got all the able heads for those cylinders
