Mounting pole pad to AM poles are you guys just using dap and gluing them on? Or is there more to it?

If your talking about the pad the pole rests on or absorbs shock when you slam it down. On my superjet i just mounted it to the underside of the pole with glue, On the Rok i mounted it to the hood. i like it on the hood better myself.
