I watched Captain Marvel two nights ago and it was passable. My issues with the movie are mild and not woke or anything, just thought it was underwhelming.

The Expanse is really good and IMO making a run for GOT and BSG for best fantasy/scifi show of the last 20 years.

The short episode anthology series Love, Sex, and Robots is amazing however NSFW on practically every episode and definitely gratuitous, excessive, and not for everyone.

If you like LS+R you will probably like Altered Carbon. Super cyberpunk, lack of respect for the body (called sleeves), trans-humanism, slipping morality, blade runner color pallet.

I Am Mother was generic however entertaining and possibly the best prop and costume work I have ever seen on film.

Wandering Earth. Well I got five minutes in when I couldn't do it anymore.

I watched I am Mother last night, I knew there was some twist coming so when I saw the drone fly overhead, I was expecting to see the Cyberdyne logo from Terminator, lol.

Love and Monsters. Good movie. I don’t know anything about the intent, but the “moral” revealed, and even voiced over at the end, is entirely applicable (maybe it’s allegory?) to the fear-of-covid mindset that’s ensnaring people thanks to ... well, we all know who’s pushing that.

It’s got a supremely cool dog as a main-ish character, so that won me over pretty quickly.

Man good moves are very rare these days. Maybe I am just getting old but I can't stand special effects movies anymore.....like at all. I can't even watch them!

But I did just watch Wildcat and it was great.

Crisis was OK too. (about the opioid epidemic)

I don't know man... I am about to go back and start watching 70's and 80's movies again.

Check out Greenland, Monster Hunter and Project Power. The war with Grandpa even had a few good laughs.

If you can endure the first hour of Zack Snyder's Justice League, "The Snyder Cur", they explain so much more and it's actually a worthwhile watch.

Netflix still continues to provide excellent content, The Old Guard, Project Power, Extraction and 6 Underground were all great watches.

Skip Tom and Jerry, Shadow in the clouds, Love and Monsters, Bill and Ted's, the new Invisible Man, The rhythm section
