We do the same runs but through mangroves.
Sometimes you have to duck under branches, sometimes you jump over them and other times you have no choice but to hit them out of the way.
First man through always collects all the spiders and webs but it's a blast.

What camera are you using ?
I would love to get one and film some of the mangrove trails.

Our mountain bike rides are normally "first rider through" collects the all the spiders/webs. Soon, our creek rides include "greenheads" ...hatching soon (Like a horse fly...they Leave BIG welts).

I'll take some pix of the camera setup soon. Sorry, low res mpeg only.

SPIDER on Z back! HA HA!

grrrrr....

creeks are for geeks:pokey:
:crying: GEEKS?....Oh boy, I wish I had a video clip of you doing some landscaping in the marsh last week :icon16:.

Here's a little more...

YouTube - FX-1 misc creek antics

I'm working on
1- Eliminating the water drops...real annoying.
2- Camera-subject alignment.
3- Editing refinement, perhaps some music?
4- Less boring content :noevil:
My old (heavy and bulky) video camera was better for most of these items. The "classic" lens cleaning system worked good.

I did my first freshwater ride a couple weeks ago and did some trail type riding. It was fun but the gators are crazy. I don't mind sharks but gators....I don't like them. I hit bottom and sucked up something but made it out to deep water before I had to stop. Still there was gators all over. Real creepy, my buddy was riding circles around me while I was clearing the pump.

It's fun when there's no waves. The only real hazard is mussles embedded in the sod banks and old pilings and stuff sticking out. You have to do an exploratory run at low speed to scope it out and then you can rail'em wide open once you know path is clear.

It was a really weak high tide yesterday and some of the stuff we were rippin' through was 1-2" deep......

Here's a 'nuther (kickin' old skool B'boyz):
