The Mikuni High volume pump with check valves before it, keep the system primed. If you run two feed lines like in the diagram, the mikuni pump can only add, not restrict fuel.

Also , in the evant that you do lose a pump gear, the mikuni pump will let you limp back to shore. Beats swimming.

Yep, a seperate scavange tank is how they drove mechanical fuel injection on cars. But you have all but figured out the cure on freeriding with a MRD. Let me give you a hint.

i have one with a brand new fuel pump id sell,hits incredible,3d print some risors for intakes and foam in the tank and it would be really fun to run,i just dont have time for it

well crap how much for either or both of those systems? Mechanical injections is something i have a lot of experience with just not in this application

I keep telling myself im going to get some risors printed for it,but its been in the same box for a long time now and doesnt look to be getting done anytime soon, was hoping to switch it over to elec injection now that some tech is coming out for that now.ive had it on 2 diff 5 mill motors in the past,it made them hit hard, had to step up the prop way more than expected on both setups i experimented with it on
