Just installed a MSD enhancer in my 1991 SJ that I picked up for about $20 off ebay, was pretty sure it was'nt going to work cause the guy sold it due to not working on his ski. Followed the install instructions tested it out, and she started right up like a damm. Tommorow going to get some grease to do the connections, and clean up the box, make sure everything is tight. Is there anything I should be worrying about, and what are you guys running the rev limiter at? The is bored out to 701 and ported, stock exhaust, and Mikuni 44 rejetted for the new cylinders.

I used to crank rev limiters way up and use my finger as the real rev limiter

I'm pretty sure that if you're using a 6m6 cylinder the porting will act as a rev limiter (under load)

K, cleaned up the the box, put some dielectric grease on all the connections, and turn the rev limiter 1/8 turn off max.

Have you ridden the ski with the new MSD yet? Or is Edmonton still thawing out from winter.
