MSD Enhancer or Reeds?

Looking to do the next upgrade to my 701. Currently just a b pipe and Thrust head. I was looking at an enhancer and v force 2 reeds. What would be the better bang for the buck? I ride all salt and care only for low-mid snap.
Thanks!

Just strictly those upgrades? What about prop, intake, reed stuffers, filters, lightened flywheel, handling mods?

My bad. Has Solas prop (unknown pitch), keeping stock flame arrestors , have rrp steering, has r&d grate. What exactly are reed stuffers ?

I didnt notice huge gain from any of my mods fter the pipe, head and prop. I also kept the stock airbox. I did a lot of my mods at the same time so the little ones i cant say fpr sure which do the most. I was disappointed that my msd failed but in msd defense it was a used one from a b1 a friend parted out. I did not notice any changes when i went back to a stock ignition but it may have been due to the msd failing. Reed stuffers provide a nicer transition from the round intake manifold to the square reeds.

I dont have msd on any of my boats, i have dual stage reeds, stuffers, heads, pipes and zero flywheels on both of my limiteds. They way i like to spend my money may not be the best way for you to spend yours. Im a believer in msd but they do fail and that puts a bad taste in my mouth. V force reeds are a little rich for me still.

You don't need reed stuffers.

Buy a new msd for as cheap as you can find online and install it with a new oem rubber e-box gasket and make sure to lightly grease the rubber grommets and rubber gasket when you put it all together. It will last much longer if it's dry

You will notice a difference between msd and stock ign in the surf. I can't ride a boat without it

I'd say MSD also if those 2 are your only options? I notice the difference straight away when i ride a ski with stock ignition.
Only other thing to think of is saving more $$ and buying a Solas mag as you'll love the gains especailly in white water.

Msd first. Then VF2 and skip the unneeded stuffers. But find out which pitch and type solas prop you have, huge low end gains to moving to a low pitched big hub hooker prop if you have an old school higher pitched solas.

How do I find out about the pitch ? I have the pump out. Would it be imprinted on the blade?

Not on blade, solas has imprinted on the side of the hub. Post up all the markings, often pitch is not listed but can tell from model number.
