MSD Enhancer question

I just installed my MSD Enhancer and followed the "How To: MSD Enhancer Install *Pics*" instructions at http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/21086

However, I am unclear what to do with the connections in the attached picture because the instructions state that the CDI Black Eyelet is split to a male connection when it is actually female, and that the Stator Black Eyelet is split off to a female connection when that is actually a male connector.

I have done placed the CDI, Stator, and Start/Stop black ground eyelets on the ground post but don't know what I should do with these 3 split off connectors.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not really sure how that happened, but I followed the instructions precisely as they are posted and doubled checked all my connections. I am about to triple check right now.

The MSD comes with 2 black wires, one connects to the coil and the other is the eyelet/female which is connected to the ground post and the female is for the overheat sensor which I am not using.

The black ground eyelets coming from both the stator and the start/stop are both male and in the instructions it states the following:

Start/Stop Switch Black Eyelet/Male - Stator Black/Female/Eyelet

Which doesn't make any sense when both ends are male.

I just triple checked all my connections and everything is correct. So I'm not sure what's wrong. Does the black wire on the stator have to connect to the black wire on the Start/Stop, even if both eyelets are grounded to the same ground post? If so, should I make a coupler in order to connect the two male ends?

Please Help.

please pull the enhancer, spread out the wires and get us a birds eye view of it so we can trace it down. its hard to help if we can't see the problem.

Thanks, but I already have those instrucations and they didn't help much since it is all in black and white and can't tell where the black wires are routing to.

Ok, here it is with all my connections laid out. How should I connect the black wires on the stator and start/stop?

i know one of the black ones is for racing add on switch. and pink for overheat. no need for either. happened to me test the if it doesnt work then try the other black. and make sure you re-connect the start stop switch out side of the box
