Super Jet msd enhancer worth it

is a msd enhancer worth it does it make a noticable difference ? who has one and is happy with it ? also how do u install it in the e box , i plan on sending my ebox and stator to jet ski solution for restoration can i just put that also in the bos and they will install it.

ada head 91 gas

After reading your list i would put ignition and pump next on the list. The msd enhancer is a good choice for the money. There is a cheaper way to go, which would be modding your stock cdi for a higher rev limit but then you are still stuck with the stock timing.

The timing curve is the only reason IMO to pickup the MSD and would HIHGLY reccommend it

I had a modded stock which seemed to have issues, but when i put my MSD enhancer it was a night and day difference. Love it!

Not much to say. Open up the ebox, remove the stock CDI, install the Enchancer. Wiring hookup is fairly straightforward. MSD's website has install instructions and wiring diagrams. If you buy new, it will ship with printed instructions.

If you install it, use a new gasket for the ebox. Most people don't, but I have used a new gasket the two times I have opened mine up in the last 5 years and it is still bone dry.

If you talk to John??? at Jet Ski Solutions he will give you some other good install tips for putting an ebox back together.

i just switchd this season from my modded stock cdi to msd, the msd was better forsure but not a major improvement. the nice thing about the msd is u can accuratly adjust rev limit, im sure there are better ones out there but the msd is a great start, ignition is just another piece of the puzzle that needs to be done, check jegs or autoplicity i think they have the best deals on those guys, $240ish

Im only running a 650 but with a b-pipe and factory water-box the thing pinned the rev limiter like nothing (6400). I installed the msd box and set the limiter to 8000 and the thing has some decent power now! Best deal I found was autoplicity.

If I bought an msd enhancer how do you adjust the rev limiter, also besides just straightforward installing it is there any tuning through computers or anything like that I have to do?

Turn the knob all the way forward, then back just a bit, be careful tightening the set nut.
