I need to know how many inches before TDC I need for 28* static timing for a 8mil stroker w/144 rods. 76mm of stroke. I am setting the static with a dial indicator screwed in #1 hole.

I have the excel spreadsheet in my email but can't open it becuase my Excel subscribtion has expired.

I am about 2 hours away from having a 90 day free trial downloaded, but I am trying really hard to get this Q8 together by 3AM-sleep till 7AM and then take it to the lake to see how it does. The engine is on my dining room table with the t/l hooked up so I can set static and then shove everything in the very SMALL hole called the engine bay of a Q8. Plenty of room side to side and NO room front to back! lol

Im confused, Do you just flip switch #4 to find TDC mark it, Adjust the stator plate so the LED flips on @28*...which is marked on the Flywheel?
