Freestyle MSD TL - help needed - will not rev max rpm

Hi All,
Hopefully someone could indicate what is the most probable cause for malfunctioning MSD TL. It has spark, but does not rev past 3-4 k rpm under load. Its a 8mil lamey on dual fs 49's. Without load it goes to about 4-5 k on the tiny tach. I just replaced a bad MSD switch also, as there was no spark at all. Ski has fuel, cooling etc all OK. Problem must be in the ignition somewhere... can a relatively weak battery be a cause? Poor grounding? Bad coil/brain? Sorry - new to MSD TL....

the bad MSD switch with no spark at all.
That woulden happen to be a Shifty msd module, would it?

Yep, I replaced the faulty switch, but still have some sort of other problem. The ski wont rev under load. It will go only 35-40% in my opinion. What are symptoms of a low power battery with the MSD TL? Thanks!

Hmm my msd shifty mod did the excsct same thing 1 monthd ago. That beening after max 10 hours use and ind water proof enclosure
I took mind out of the setup and got spark again.

I found I had major mositure buildup in the stator area and some rusty mess all over. Cleaned and dried it, will test tommorow, but engine sounds ok... smokes a bit, hopefully it sparks well....

With broken Reeds their shouldnt be more Problems then Not rev max. U didnt Realize Anything Else?
