I’m about to sell a complete set up cheap. 500 for all. Brain has dropped a channel I pulled the whole System from the ski and went back stock so I could continue to ride for the weekend. The brain may be good I will try and test it if someone is serious about buying it.

Just the ring gear all by itself? I know there was a thread on it with at least one source for them. I'm thinking it was Watcon?

If you have a stock flywheel you can just take the ringgear Off and press /freeze it on to the tl flywheel

I was told the SJ stock ring gear would not fit a MSD flywheel ?

Ideally I need just the ring gear yes, as I have a fly wheel and wanted it lightened but the guy told me the ring gear was no good and to buy a new one

The flywheel in the photo looks like a Kawasaki flywheel as it has 2 holes for the magnet ?

Here is the thread I had in my head. I think the end solution was to rotate the ring gear so the starter engages a new section.

It was originally used with an analog system with one pick up. I knocked 1 magnet out to use it with the digital brain. The whole setup cam out it my Yamaha based 967.

Haha. Yea read my thread. Thanks @OCD Tech Support. This is the flywheel that everyone said would fail. 5 years later it’s still holding up.

Also depends on how new the system is. The newer flywheels have a very different ring gear.

I asked the an engineer about turning the ring gear around and he said he would have to cut anouther leading edge on it and it would be weaker

I’m talking about indexing the ring gear 90 deg, not flipping it over.
