Brett at MSD said yesterday they could no longer get circuit boards for control module. Pickups still available and are coils used in other applications.

This is what the jet ski world needs!! I, for one, say good riddance to the MSD. Really dated and unreliable tech.
Yeah good luck, they are all shipped direct from manufacturer, try to order one and you will get a discontinued product reply.

So for argument sake what other options do we have out there to run what is still available?
1. MSD - Discontinued
2. ATP- I was told was discontinued
3. Zeeltronics - can these be reliably set up on the xs1200's?
4. I hear zach zylstra was making an electronic system, what is that based off of?
5. electronics with a lightened wheel and enhancer?

3 - i guess just as reliable as any other engine
4 - yes Former JSTL, now CPI (2 ch cdi zeeltronic box, "identical to PDCI-23-HALL" if you ask me ) with ET flywheel.
5 - yes unless MSD discon the enhancer at some point.

Christian what are you running this year and what would you recommend. My current set up is MSD but its going to be hard to find parts so I rather swap to the next best thing. I do have my zeel set up still that I could try retrofit1 - discon

Are the brains repairable out of curiosity. I went away from MSD originally because of channel issues with the brain. Thats really the only part I am afraid of not being able to replace on the set up

If you have the full setup, run it until the brain is toast. Some of them work for ever.....
This is a good thing - hopefully motivation for someone to come up with an up to date system.
