Hey xh20 friends boy from OZ has got a quick question if you could help me out . I'm setting up my static timing on my mad total loss digital with two triggers . The LED lights up when the magnet passes the trigger at 30 degrees however it doesn't spark . It will only spark if I Rock the flywheel back and forward past the trigger quickly Has anyone ever had that ? Thanks Y'all !

Have you tried jumping the pickup wires that go into the brain? If you jump them and it sparks every time, it would most likely be a bad pickup.

Mine did the exact same thing during setup the other day. System works perfect.

So did mine. Sometimes you don't get spark if you are turning the f/w slowly towards the firing point. You do get a visible spark while cranking however.

Exactly, but when moving faster you can't tell exactly where it fires. My led works so that was a huge help, Checked exactly when the led comes one so you know when the magnet is at the edge of the pickup.

The firing will occur when the led lights, you should be ok
However another problem I'm having now is that when I turn the flywheel slowly to check the timing I'm getting a honking noise coming from the front carb ..... Sounds like a crying puppy dog :/... And I can feel air coming up the car throte .. is this normal ?

That's just air passing by the reeds. They won't seal unless there is pressure inside of the crank case.

If the led setting is "on", the spark is "off".

If your electric start dip is on then the brain will need a few passes of the trigger before it fires the coil. This helps prevent the motor from kicking backwards on some timing curves.
