MSD Total loss master thread

Ok here goes I know there are some guys still running these setups, the info from MSD has mostly been lost and most of the links that you can find are now dead.

So I am thinking it might be a good idea to create a master thread with any info that may be still floating around out there.

I will start with this link, yes it's upside down , I have no idea why but you can fix it at the top of the page.

If anyone has wiring diagrams, installation instructions, shifty module wiring ,etc please post them in this thread.

I was pretty sure I had the wiring figured out on the 4270 's I have but your wiring diagram confirmed it, I spent several hours yesterday looking for that diagram and came up empty, I knew I couldn't be the only one.

One source says these are the correct values for the rev limiter chips, This only applies to analog MSD (4270-4272)
It appears to me the values only need to be close basically the desired rev limit minus 1000RPM equals the ohm value of the resistor.
