Yep a brain and a coil, I have heard a stock coil will work w/ single p/u. I believe Paul Lehr told me this. I coincedentally have a brain and a coil and need the flywheel and p/u plate. One way or the other we need to hook up, either you buy the brain or I buy the stuff you just bought.

Congrats! You acquired all the inexpensive parts for a total loss. LOL...

You will need an MSD TL brain. There are three different choices, they will all work.
Depending on what you get for a brain, you can get two different coil (systems)
For the single channel brains, you will need an MSD dual tower coil, for the dual channel brain you need two singles.
I recommend you go with the Pro-Digital II brain (Dual channel digital). Reliable and nicely programmable.
However, it will be the most expensive.
If you have to buy the brain new from MSD (EXPENSIVE!!!) you will be forced to go with the Pro-Digital II.

I think i screwed up my # I think mine is digital. It has dip switches on the back.
The reason I am asking is because i was thinking of getting a second system for another ski and was wondering if the dual channel is that much better.
It would be more logical to stick with the same as what i have for trouble shooting then i could switch brains back and forth.

The multi channel is better but the single works well. The only real downside is that it is obsolete. If it dies and you can't find a replacement you'll have to buy everything except a flywheel to make the multi channel work.
