MTB Helmet...

So what are you guys running for a helmet while mountain biking?

I was born in the 60s and thought, 'helmet', yeah whatever dude, but I'm pushing it a bit, and am old enough now to think I'm not invincible anymore and don't wanna risk it. Plus my wife is on me to where one too.

So what's the coolest and the latest style? What do you recommend?

I guess I am concerned with how cool I may or may not look. Lets see yours or post a web link.

I have a Bell Helmet that I got a few years ago that is light and comfortable. Have a Giro that is good, just a bit heavier. Go to local Bike Shop and find one, not Walmart or Academy.

Carbon 661? I would not say it is super good but it has held up in bike, quad, and snowmobile accidents! Nice and light too! The salt water eventually eats the metal clips that hold the chin strap on though....some rivets, steel, and glass can fix that though
