Check out the above link...pretty neat looking ski. However, buyer neglects to tell anyone that ALL of the decals are 100% stripped off. Seems pretty important considering that is probably the reason most of us would want it. Here is an updated picture that he sent a friend of mine that was interested...

I bought this ski.. It is a nice clean michigan freshwater boat. It was posted when I bought it minus the graphics, and he wasn't trying to mislead anyone about anything. He just said he still had the paper that showed it was a sunkist ski originally. I couldn't care less about the sunkist logos.. they were 20 years old.

He may not have been trying to mislead anyone about the ski, but he damn sure wasn't being forthcoming in the listing. I just looked again and saw nothing mentioning the fact that the ski had been stripped of decals. Again, this would be the main reason some people would buy this ski. If it doesn't have the graphics, its no longer the Sunkist ski he is advertising. If I were to buy that boat and get it with no graphics, I would be one ticked of buyer.

Anyway, congrats on the new ski.

As mentioned....If you weren't buying the ski specifically for the graphics then its no big deal. Still very misleading. Those skis aren't really any more valuable, but to the person that is wanting one with those graphics it would be a big deal if the graphics weren't on it like they were supposed to be.

Just simply different graphics. The graphics weren't applied by Yamaha if I recall correctly..basically some SJ's were bought, had a decal kit put on them and were either raffled or just simply given away.

^^ I've been failing to design myself graphics for my ski. Maybe a new updated version of the retro design would be sick?
