Mucho arm carnage.

While racing this weekend, on my last moto of six motos i was passing for the lead after a bad start, the leader swapped off a step down double and his bike landed right in front of me. Needless to say, i'm off both bike and ski for a while, and possibly pondering being off the bike for good. I'm just tired of getting hurt. Bad part was i won the first moto in this class by like 12 seconds.... I already had a plate in this arm before. Now that is removed and now i have 2 plates and 13 screws in my left arm. I got it fixed yesterday morning. I will get before and after x ray shots when i go back for my 10 day check up.

the problem with skis is youre gonna get bored real quick. thats pretty much what happened to our crew. the mx adrenaline is just so much higher. a ski might tide you over for a year or so.. but you'll be back in the dirt.. its in your blood...

we plan on starting to ride these silly little water toys again now that its the dead heat of summer again. :icon16:

Isnt it 2 of you that started playing in the dirt???

But, I do agree on part, you need another hobby also........

I will still prob ride for fun, just not like i have been. AKA: a real job. I rode three motos and got 300 bucks out of the two i finished, so thats enough to make my SJ payment for a few months til i can get a job. Gay part was that it wasn't even my fault, barely ever is. oh well. This brings my broken bone tally up close to my age, and i'm 19, so thats why i feel i am gonna hang up the helmet on racing and hit the textbooks in school. Good thing i ordered my jet tards movie last week so i will have something to do!

Like I stated to Yamasaki not long ago, nothing beats the dirt, and nothing will beat you like the dirt. In mx or sx, it's not about if you will get hurt, it's about when you will get hurt. :skull2: In my opinion, there is no sport on the planet that compares to sx. It IS THE SHIOT. PERIOD.

Hope you heal soon!

that sucks man, I hope you heal quickly. I've dislocated my shoulder several times playing in the dirt, never broken anything though.
