when mine started cracking outside. (inside was already reinforced)
i put like 3" or 4" tape around the bond line and then did each side with a whole layer or carbon kevlar.
no cracks now...
lot's of how to's.... had a surfboard guy help me out so i didn't add a ton of weight.
I wish that was the same for me but when u keep buying junk that need to be fixed u learn real quick that u should have just spent the 6 grand uv invested on a new am hull and not have gone down this road. With that said I'm about to have a a bunch of skis forsale
strip the hull..its easy, you can do it in an hour or 2 even as a first timer..
fill the gap with west systems or other epoxy that has been thickened.......reinforce the sides with fiberglass and epoxy....flip it over, fill the outside gap with thickened epoxy as well..
I'm going to add a drain from the engine bay - I will make a decision about re foaming depending on how wet it is - the ski rode very well before the bondline separated. She is a great surf boat.
