So more work has been done today. Turf and padding came in. Took the motor out, took the pole off for a bunch of hull reinforcement.

Got the hood straps done. The pancake Pete foothold makes it difficult, but I think it's handled well.

Got my impact pad, pole limiting rope, tow loops and towing tie down loops.

Traded my shortened pole for an AC racing pole in hopes that it won't break while I'm learning and make the 07- cable a bolt on. I am going to shorten it to what the other was and polish it. I already started stripping it.

Started sanding down the inside of the hull to prepare it for new glass. We plan on glassing over the fill holes to keep water out forever! Haha.

Got my pole stripped and sanding has begun, this is 400 dry sand after I wet sanded it with 400.

Pole is nearing completion, I'm waiting for paint to dry so I can rip off the tape and give it a rub down. Had to strap it to a cart so I could buff it haha.

Hull is all sanded down just need to sand around the pole mounting area.

Great job the pole! What did you use to polish it? Also are you going to spray it with clear coat or anything to help with water spots?

I used 400/600/800/1200 sand paper then white diamond polish I think is what it was called.

I don't want to clear it... I just spent all time taking paint off hard to want to spray it with more haha. If I keep it polished it should last, if not I was thinking of having it anodized

You do all that by hand!? I was thinking you at least used one of these.

Yea I buffed it with a high speed. That's why I had to strap it to the cart hahaha.
