My $400 score!!!! STOKED

Also make sure your stinger is nice and clear (blow through pipe) and change you check valve as a minimum ;)

Lots more in the build doc I just mailed you..

Technically, if I remember right, the stinger exit from the chamber and waterbox inlet and outlet are 3.5 inches, not 3 inch. My B1 is 3.5 all the way to the back of the ski.

The stock GP1200 water box needs to be cut down significantly, but it's definitely worth it. The sound is killer, gets compliments all the time and people always want to know what's in it just because of how it sounds. My B1 has been together now for almost a year and I ride mostly salt water. Everyone who takes it for a spin, well, it just ruins how they look at their own ski from that point on.

I'm an old school VW lover too. My current project is a 90 Corrado, getting a complete rebuild front to back with a nice little motor swap of course.

One more motor shot of my B1, love this thing!

Agree on the buddies riding, 6x of my buddies have ridden my 1200 B1 and EVERY one of them is building one or looking for the parts to do so..

The black in the engine bay and under the hood is Awlgrip. It's a marine paint and holds up extremely well to gas and oil. A buddy sprayed it in for me, great stuff. Thanks for the compliments.

NAH! LOL. I took the WB1 701 to the lake Fridayand it FINALLY ran good. Better had because it has a known good 61X, new 62T CDI, and jet solutions wires!. Today I rode my KTM SXC 625 and tomorrow I'm actually going back out for what I believe to be my last time of the season on the water. LOL. I've just been building it in my head. what I really need to find is a 3.0 outlet for the transom.

But yeah...when the season dies...the 701 gets the boot. Real talk though...we are still in the upper 80s so the attraction to the water is too strong to ditch the motor just yet:)

Last ride of the season!?!? That's what wet suits are for! Get that thing built and come down here, we ride all year! Last weekend I rode with my buddies on the skis all day Saturday, then Sunday I went with them to a local enduro, took my CR. Great weekend on water and dirt!

The transom outlet is just a couple hole saws away. I used a 3.5 in. and a 5 in. and made mine. Smoothed the edges and had the tube welded for the inside exhaust hose connection. Maybe 30 minutes of work, done.

Keep us posted and send me a message if you want to get together and ride sometime.

Sold one of my Honda TRX 70s last night. Time to buy some parts!!

And Squid I have a ton of VWs around here. LOL. Where do you guys ride at? I might be inclined to buy another wet suit if I can find people to make it worth while.

We ride all over... Daytona, Brooksville river run, Dunedin (mostly here), St. Pete, Clearwater, etc. We'll be at the Freeride in Daytona in January of course, definitely need a wet suit for that! You're only a few hours away, I have a friend stationed in Valdosta at the Air Force base and go to visit him sometimes. You probably know him, he's big into VW's too. PM me if you want, we can talk on the phone sometime.
