yes its fine- install the bottom and work up. you may need to sand the holds or hull to get the best fit. like the back corner, looks like its more on the kicktail then the roundnose will allow for. you will glass over it all so don't be afraid to trim it.

thanks for your reply tom.
thats what I thought needs to be done.

you can see in the following picture that even the other (right) side is not even also on some of the edges, like the top.
so i will need to trim/file to make it fit, but how would i trim on the top there to fit? cause I cant trim too much since i need edge to screw the holds to the tray!

thats the template i used, i just traced with pencil and cut magazine paper to trace on to the tray.

if it was me I would grind the rear bottom of the hold and the rear side of the hull. you can at this point even screw them in and glass over. depends on how lazy you are. by grinding the outside towards the bottom you will get a slightly(very slightly) wider tray. looks like the roundie rolls out at the top more than the square.

you can grind away at the bottom of the foothold here

you can grind away the side here or remove from the hull. still have plenty of meat everywhere else to snug it up and you will be glassing over.

honestly I would just do the bottom corner- the rest will pull up.

thanks for the advice tom!
I didnt do any of that, after 15 screws it pulled up pretty good :ugh2:
and glassed over with 3 coats with plenty of resin so far, will that be enough coats ?

Are you going to use the stock handle pole bracket with that aluminum pole?

got all figured out; sharp end goes towards the tray!

installed the tubbies yesterday, will post pictures soon.
using screws to hold in place for now, 5200 over the foam; good 3lines across and gllased over with first coat for now, will add couple more coats and than sand - sand - sand to prep for paint job.

edit:
took screws out once the glass got hard enough and used 5200 again to cover wholes for now, will cover from inside as well once i get working on the top deck.

yes was thinking to reuse stock one, why are you asking ?
While swapping handle pole you can pull handle pole bracket gusset to reinforce (the stock one will not break after doing this) and make under side plate. This will save you much grief as it will reduce the possibility of cracks around the handle pole bracket. Do you need pictures?

maybe i rather get umi plate instead?
unless reinforcement is a must even with aftermarket plate?

thanks...

umi plate is steering. The handle pole mount is down by fuel inlet. I will send pictures tonight or tomorrow morning.
