my bultaco alpina project

I am going to tear this old guy down and clean it up real good. My only real improvement goal is get the brakes functioning and make it easier to start.

Actually it came with metal fenders back in the day. I have them, they just need to be shined up. The fenders that are on it are plastic.

Hmm.... I don't remember what year or model the one my buddy has is, but they're glass, along with the side panels. Polished aluminum fenders look sweet.

I never understood why people hate LH kick bikes so much. It took at most 1 day to get used to the leftie on my Husaturd, and it's an awkward position (high and far forward) to start out with.

Sweet old bike. I had a 370 Bultaco Frontera, My baby brother had a 250 Alpina. Both very cool. They had fiberglass fenders / tank / side panels. Lotta' low end torque.

Yep this is an early 250 alpina. I am guessing about a 72 just from pics I have found on google.

I will look tonite, I am thinking it is a Pursang pipe, if the wifey didn't throw it out cleaning. I won't be able to get back to you until Monday tho.
