Super Jet My Custom Superjet Trim

Has anyone ever seen\done this mod? Just checking it out and seeing how everyone likes it.
Show and tell time...

Basically I welded my own bungs on a stock superjet nozzle and added and X2 trim set up. Then I made my own trim cable bracket(s) out of stainless to mount onto the reduction. a terry cable\trim tube\ lever and away you go. So far it looks like I have around 40 degrees of trim.

how well does it work i have a x2 trim nozzle and would like to do it on my next build

My ski is being rebuilt currently, so I wont know for a few more weeks. I'll update the thread with pictures and results. Also I checked it again last night with my digital protractor and it came out to 45.7 degrees total trim. I know I wont get that much pull with the lever, but at least its available.

Anything that uses Kawasaki parts is awesome to me!
What's the ID of the tilt ring, as well as the ID of the turn nozzle? I might have to order up some pieces and try them out.

I'll check the trim ring tonight but I know the the steering nozzle measures out to 90.2 mm ID at the exit.

that might be OK. My SJ turn nozzle is at 95mm I believe. This could be a really cool set up.

Yeah, I am going to try it with this exit nozzle and if need be just bore it out. I think it should work. guess we'll see:dunno:
