Paul L for sure is dedicated to the sport, "Not only does he have skilz in the Bay but he has skilz in the tray" By bay I mean Engine Bay.
I woke him at 6.00 am Friday morning we went and had a quick breakfast at Waffle House, then went back to the hotel and put my new Motor in. When he had done mine he went and worked on another engine install. The guy totally rocks.
By 10am he was in the water doing Back flips.:woot: :woot:

Lookin good. Another week and I hope it will be closed up enough that I can start participating in my martial arts and scuba classes again. Bruising in the area is still pretty bad (ski coming down on my leg, no surprise), but I'm just glad it didn't break. Didn't think about that till recently, but now that the general swelling is down, looking at the brusing in the area I think if my left foot had been a few inches deeper my foot would have hit bottom and my leg would probably be broken.

I'm still changing the bandages 3-4 times a day and using plenty of neosporin. I'm tired of having a hole in my leg.

I have had the opporunity to see my shin bone compliments of my jet ski as well. It is such a pain it the but waiting for it to heal. Watch out for infection. I had to get a week's worth of I.V. antibiotic treatment for an infection I had in my leg after the Jersey Rager two years ago.

Urine is sterile, unless you got a UTI going on.
Furthermore, healthy urine is indeed antiseptic.

EDIT: Obviously, this doesn't mean piss on your open wounds.

Actually when I used to mountain bike I was taught that, if you didn't have a first aid kit or a bottle of booze and you needed to sterilize a wound, pee is the best option... And yeah, I peed in my wetsuit. I didn't know there was a hole in my leg at the time!

I'm glad it wasnt a lake. If that had happened on Lanier and I kept riding I'm sure it would have been much more likely to get infected. Gotta love salt water.

Its hard to explain anything to Art, he doesn't believe anything except for what Pete says....Christ he still believes Pete can do a barrel roll, has anyone seen this happen yet ?

Whats that saying....unless there's a pic, it never happened

Hey Thomas, you still MTB any? What you ride?

Oh man, it's been at least 3 years since I even touched a bike. I only had one friend who rode, and he got a girlfriend that pretty much eliminated any time he had to... Well to do anything actually (4 or 5 years younger, his first girlfriend, and at this rate his only... Its very sad).

I never was that into it (I enjoyed it, but never did it a lot), me and my friend would just hop in this guy's SUV every few weekends for 2 years. My bike was from Toys R Us or Sports Authority or something, but hey it's still in one peice so it's allright by me. hehe

I did get to ride at Snowmass a few times tho. God the Rockies are beautiful.:cool2: I would love to go back.

This thread seems to be more like "Freestyle/Freeride OT" than Daytona pics a this point.
