My experience with SBT warranty

Literally have posted like 10x on here that push pull makes cables that I designed with extra throw and extra length in order to be rebuilt multiple times. Can lead a horse to water they say

That being said. I just bought a new cable. Oem superjet 06 07 for 110 dollars.

I've contacted them with the web thing twice now with no reply, will try calling at some point but haven't gotten around to it.

It's probably more hassle than it's worth now but you can fight it if you want to put in the effort. The problem is you made direct contact with the manufacturer. So now they put the burden of proof on you.

Instead of the dealer you bought from taking the cable back ordering another for you, and emailing an RMA request for the defective product, they now see it as collusion they can just dismiss and the dealer will side with them for the business.

Your only chance is asking the dealer to find the po and match up the part packaging and any numbers on the part.

Any SBT cable has the part number printed on the cable near the end of the red cable jacket. That would prove it is an SBT cable and also SBT knows this and would have asked for that info, so something is strange about this story. They could also look up their authorized dealer's account for the purchase record.
