Other My Fiance said I can get a new Superfreak Badazz, if I lose some weight!

It looks like the playstation move has a fighting game that is both supposed to be very fun and a great work out. I realize its pretty much just shadow boxing, but I am thinking it might be at least a start. I'd give my left arm for this damn hull if I have to, but I'd rather not. Anyone have this or any good ideas on how I can shed about 30 lbs in the next 3 months?? I'd even consider eating a tapeworm.

Bucky back up. have you told everyone that you weigh 180 lbs. and are about 5,11'' ? why the hell did she tell you that. maybe it was a easier way for her to tell you, no way in hell are you getting one.

Well, I would start by running around your neighborhood as fast as you can to see if maybe you can find your man card! Haha.

Find a couple sports teams and join them. Not softball or baseball, an actual sport, that involves running. I can't run on a treadmill, but if you find something that gets you active for an extended period of time you don't have to stress the diet quite so much. Plus as you want to get better you'll find you have to eat a little better to feel better, etc.

Update: by practicing discipline with cutting back on high calorie pigouts, I have dropped 12 lbs since the first posting on this. I am eating all food that I cook, using fresh, not processed ingredients. No more late night taco bell/ mcdonalds runs! I eat a homemade fruit smoothie in the am instead of a Starbucks mocha. And I am now working out 3 days a week to try and get into reasonable shape. Don't get me wrong I'm hardly ripped p-90x style, But I can see inklings that my abs are there again. I think another 15 lbs or so and I'll not be ashamed to walk around shirtless any more. Ive mostly cut the beer out of my diet but I have a feeling that won't last through the summer. But I will practice moderation even then. So I figure my ski will have dropped close to 50 lbs, I drop about 25-30 and I will have a heck of alot lighter setup this year! I should have taken a before pic, but I am going to start taking one weekly to document and motivate me even more.

Tem says about 10 more weeks, or sooner. I'm not holding my breath on the sooner part I am sure he is going to be slammed after people ride them in Daytona.

Update to progress! I am inside of 180 lbs for the first time in over 15 years, I am now 178.6 to be exact. According to my fancy bathroom scale I am 23% fat, I still have alot more to go, I still cant see my abs yet, but progress is being made! Anyone else out there still sticking to New years resolutions?

Thats what my scale tells me anyway. BMI is measured at 26.1 whatever that means. it uses some kind of electrical impulse to tell this stuff, but I am not sure how accurate it is that way.

BMI is garbage, don't use that!

I'm the same height as you. If I weighed 180, I'd be pretty ripped. I have no reason to ever get below 190.

everyones perfect weight is different.

The good news is I feel great, I still have occasional cravings for chocolate, but I think I am past the worst of it as far as fast food. I really dont miss it at all any more. I think I can lose about another 5 lbs of blubber, I think as it goes now, my weight has stabilized and I dont think it will go much lower. if anything my weight will go up as muscle mass is added.

I run 5.7 miles per day and ride my bike another 11 miles a day.
I can't seem to lose weight.

Got a SF coming either way, though. :biggrin:

remember body weight and body fat are 2 completely different things , muscle weighs a lot more than fat

i checked my weight yesterday when leaving the gym for the first time in months , at 5'7'' im 218 and around 7-8 % body fat .

dont worry about the scales only fat levels or shin thickness , also your body will plato for a while but stick at it in a few weeks the fat will start coming off again

Great news on the new Ski , im waiting for mine as well it was going to be ready at the end of feb but i got a email last week its running about 3 weeks behind mid march now :-{ but it will be worth the wait Rickter XFR with a 950 stroker :-}}}
