300/440/550 My first 650sx...finally a couple PICTURES!

OK finally got some pictures the other day when I did a small paint job. The old guy I bought this beauty from had his name "BUZZ" pinstriped on the pole in pink and blue, so it had to go! And also a crusty old coast guard warning sticker from 1990..... End result came out good. I am happy for now until i strip the whole ski and do a REAL paintjob.

My 650 and my buddys 750, first day ever riding a standup! Sorry no action shots, my camera can't swim.

My opinion, well...... Since this is my first ski ever and I have only ridden it once I don't really have much to say yet. I love it cause it was in great shape, i got a smokin deal and from my 4 hours logged so far its alotta fun. I wish I could have something more to say to help you but i just have no comparison yet.... I did ride my buddys 750 that is in the picture and must say his is pretty much bone stock as well but has WAYYY more power! Nothing a few add ons cant do though...!

There are tons of stuff to do to the 650sx to make it better. First for me is to put a longer ride plate on there. That will make the front end stay down better and not porpoise. Then get rid of the stock Aluminum prop. Put in a Stainless steel one in and a compound pitch like a 9/17.
A better pair of handle pars. The one on there are bent back to far and too narrow. The better bars will give you more leverage. Get ride of the thumb throttle and replace with a finger. These suggestion will make the ski much more comfortable.
After that stuff you can go to a high compression head, pipe and intake/carb set.
But the list can go on and on. You can get the 650 to be fun, the biggest down fall of the sx is it does not turn well.
