Well my first dirt bike since I was 14 anyway. Have had it a couple months now and have only taken it around the block at my house. Needs a new front fender and maybe one day when I run out of projects I will strip her down to the frame and give her some new paint.

Couple naked pictures:

Nice score!
Those are worth good money... and they only made them for a couple years, fairly rare. Did you get a good deal? $$?? :D
Do you have the rest of the plastics? The original OEM plastics are worth so much $$
I know a guy here in town that collects them, also also with the Yamaha version of those.

Yeah I think I got a good deal. Minus the front fender being broken it is in great shape. Came with a new battery too.

I have the original plastics, but someone clear coated them and now they are piss yellow color... So need to sand the clear coat off or something.

Right on Quinc, those things are so much fun for the money! What model? 200cc?

200cc. Yamaha made a Big Wheel in 80cc, 200cc, and 350cc. Hoping to find an BW80 for the kiddo one of these days:

I will have it at Pismo in March if you want to check her out.

They are climbers that will go anywhere. Not a race machine.

"In the rear, the TR200 went with a high tech “no-link” rear suspension system, mated to a works style piggyback Showa shock. The shock featured 45-way compression and rebound settings, which combined with the adjustable tire pressure to provide nearly infinite adjustability."

amazing technology in its day...
