My First Superjet.. Help!

Finally sold my 650sx and got a 1991 650 sn sj. Looking to convert to a 701. What all do I need to buy and what can stay the same for the conversion?

You want to drop a complete 61x 701 in or build yours? To convert, 61x cylinder, pistons, and head. You'll have to clearance the 6m6 case for the cylinder. Can be done with a dremel tool.

Ride the 650 for the rest of the season...when it gets cooler people will start putting skis up for sale much cheaper. Look for a 701 couch then.

+08 SJ Stock Prop is a great affordable option, Hooker 9/15, Solas 11/17 or 12/17 are great too.

Some people have issues mounting a Riva Red Pipe, however others have had great performance especially considering the price.

I would personally hold off for a B Pipe, as they are light weight with great low end. And they hold their value exceptionally well.

Ran a red pipe in my modded 701 SN for a couple years it had amazing low end grunt, but it was just one part of the package. As stated I would ride what you have and start collecting parts for a stellar 701 package to build in the winter months. Then you can take the engine and drivetrain with you when you get tired of the SN. lol

Kinda In the same boat.
I have a superjet, an empty hull and wetjet Kraze. Trying to make one ride-able ski.
Want a B-pipe, but working part time while going to school every day is making that B-pipe dream unlikely. The Wetjet pipe has become a huge hassle. So I'm about to toss on the 650 stock exhaust onto the thing just so I can ride it maybe once this season..
