Hey Geverson, if you need a motor you can borrow mine, but, not sure how to get it to you............
John at JSS has starter end caps I imagine. Someone had a top end for sale, I think Legdrag, so you ~could~ put something together....
gump, im curious to see your pistons pics. do your sparkplugs have any rust on them? what kind of head? im thinking water injestion through a bad o ring or cracked dome.
did you have the hose pressure like a morning piss? or did you have it on like a fire hose?
do all of your reeds still have all of the screws?
From the look of the domes...you had a crank bearing failure first (possibly a pin bearing) and then broke the rod from too much debris floating in the motor and tying up the piston in the bore from what I see. You'll know when you get the crank out for inspection...Sometimes if you get the squish clearance too tight and kiss the piston against the head can cause a rod bearing failure. What oil were you using? What ratio you mixing at? Have you been riding in salt water a lot and got any in motor? One main cause of premature crankshaft bearing failure is water ingestion, so check all cooling lines and fittings to make sure you have no leaks.
What pistons were you using; R&D or Kawi's Which needle bearings were in there? OEM yami's or Kawi's
Inquiring minds wanna know! I have ran flat tops for years and never experienced anything like that!
