First off, I had an EPIC time. Can't beat great friends and waves. Not to mention my first backflips! So stoked!! Very nice to meet everyone, can't stress how much fun I had up until around midnight Saturday night.
Second, very sorry again to all my buds who were looking for me all night Saturday. Must have made someone REALLY mad.. I really don't recall anything between walking out the door of the bar and being at the ER. I'm back to work, still in Texas for the next couple weeks and started a job in San Marcos today.
The breakdown wasn't bad fuel. My nozzle was cracked from a previous surf trip beach cart incident. It finally let loose and I couldn't steer at all. Normally I can make my way back without steering, been there a few times. This time was different, the waves were crazy so I just beached it.
Can't wait to get back in the surf, can't quit thinking about those flips!
