Just wanted to say thank you to Art at Jetworks for doing all my engine work. Had my cylinder bored, honed, ported, head pipe and manifold ported, and carb gone through by Art. Art is a top notch guy. His communication is second to none. After my first ride with the engine I was stripped a cylinder head bolt thread... he heard from a friend that I might be having larger problems than I really was and he called me out of the blue to ask if there was anything he could do to help... I was blown away at that. I have never had any other jet ski company call me asking if I needed help.
Second I'd like to thank Carl (DangerBoy). He has feed me full of so much Yamaha pwc knowledge and is a all around great guy. He helped me assemble my engine since I had never done so before. I have had plenty experience ripping engines apart, but not putting them back together.
Rode the new engine and it was killer. The smoothest power I have ever personally felt. The transition between the bottom to top end was seamless. Throttle response was so crisp and the ski never loads up. I can tell its gonna be great for the surf. Now if I can just get my back to start to feel better so that I can really rip it up.
I would highly recommend calling Art if you are thinking about doing engine work.
