8ft beds make non trailer life so nice. Unfortunately i got rid of my 8ft bed, now i have what is a 6 1/2". Looks more than a 1 1/2 loss but we will see if I can shut the tailgate with the ski at an angle at least. Good looking ride, can't go wrong with black. #BlackRidesMatter

Thanks, old one was a 6' bed and this is just way better. Designing a 3 ski deck to sit on top of the bed with cradles and winches. Going no trailer to Daytona this year!

We have a setup for two skis. I guess with that dually you have enough width to hold three. Makes travel so much nicer. Luckily I usually only have one ski while I travel and don't mind tailgate down and a few straps. I will make a system for my one ski to make things easier and load/unload at the ramp without a kart

Looks good! I'm actually designing my own version of this.

If you haven't already. Check out hauling ski section, there's a member up in Canada with one of the truck bosses. Might come in handy when designing yours.

I don't use mine much, just easier to pull the enclosed since everything is already in it minus skis and fuel. I only use mine when I'm towing the boat as well.

8' is the old way to go. You now can make cool things like this:

Two person job to get the skis up and down? We have a wooden version of this and an aluminum one on the way. No winches tho so it requires two as of now
