Custom/Hybrid My new ski trailer

So I got sick of transporting my skis on an open standard pwc trailer so I ordered a custom built 12ft x 7ft enclosed. I had it built so I can drive it through my drive through garage bay and park behind the house with all my spare parts inside, that is why it is an oddball height of only 6ft10 (my stupid house was built with all 8ft doors on the front of it and then 1 7ft door on the back.....stupid!!!!). I just started on this trailer yesterday and its no where near complete but here it is.

IMG_0863.jpgthe Idiots at precision cargo welded the angle iron i had them put in the wall at 1ft 11"????why i dont know. Definetly not in the center of the trailer like I paid for so i had to get custom made C channel alluminum

IMG_0886.jpgJust a quick test fit still have lots of work to do. I put a drum of c12 up front with a 12v fuel transfer pump to make refueling quick and easy.
More pics to come

image.jpgLED lightbar. It was a little brighter then I intended but works good. I'm putting a few 40" bars on the outside too.
image.jpgLooks like a junk yard give me another week. Got the racks basically done.

image.jpgThe 14ft alluminum roller rack splits into 2-7ft racks that will hang up on the wall inside. I intend to mount a winch to pull the skis up but this is extremely easy as it is. This is just a prototype that I made up in a few hours. It's not done yet I still have to figure a bracket to place from the ramp to the racks

Good trick for you.
If you get the new Gopro with the blutooth you can put it in the trailer for the long huals and turn it on and off with your iPhone or Ipad and see whats going on in the trailer. Its real nice when you hit a big bump and you can look and see everything ok.

I changed the top bunks from wood to alluminum. They have half of a 6ft x 2.5" abs pipe And marine grade carpet on top. Slides awesome and no scratches. The roller ramp works amazing now too finally finished. Enjoy the pics

Mounted a bluetooth camera in the front of the trailer. You can use the wireless monitor in any truck. Made by Peak Performance. Hopefully it works out. I still have to hide the wires.

Also mounted a 41.5" LED light bar on the back so we can light up the lake for some evening riding. I still have to mount the Clearance light back on just underneath it.
