My wife bought me that same camera setup and the signal wouldn't reach the cab from the bumper of my quad cab shortbed. It would work as long as there was a door or Window open but wouldn't penetrate the door otherwise. I messed with it for a couple weeks and finally just took it back.

I love what your doing that trailer and wish I could keep building on to ours. Since I downsized to a reg cab shortbed with a V6 I don't really like towing ours anywhere. It ends up just being a great storage unit to get crap out of the garage.

Have you looked into an awning yet? I scoped out one for the entire right side and another short one that extends out the back over the doors.

You can get decent wired flush mount cmos cameras for under $50 so I was going to put one of them on the bumper and add another one in or out the back of the trailer with a quick connect in the trailer harness The only thing holding me back is not having a monitor to display them on. I have factory Nav with Sirius so I don't really want to replace my head unit. I have been looking at one of the rear view mirrors with the 4.3" backup display but they are apparently junk too.

Havasu updates lol:
welded up some aluminum bottom bunks and sliders. Mounted a winch, helmet rack, and fuel rack in the front as well, for the roller ramps I ran my super clamps from my sled deck on the room for a quick way to latch and have them out of the way.

going to try to do the same setup, but with two skis that stay on beach carts when not in the water. carts and ski strap to the floor kinda thing. shop bench at the front, fridge, solar panel on the roof, battery tray underneath. cant wait! hopefully it will work out and i can ditch my single trailer finally! only thing different is i want to go with a single axle for maintenance costs and a lighter trailer. thanks for the ideas!

That what I would go with this time for sure. I wanted to but was unable to find long enough ones at the time. Now it seems like that's all I can find. But for the price you pay for ramps now at some larger stores its definetly the better way to go. I made sure I had 14ft coming out of the trailer It seems like a good length so far.
