Can you please elaborate on your rolled on paint? What paint did you use and is it durable? I was looking at supermarinepaint.com and thinking about doing the same with mine.

I have painted the bottom of a hull before roll on epoxy . it did level out nicely two coats and I was done.. but this after 2 days the coverage isnt that great.. and if it takes 7 days to paint ? how much are you really saving ?

i already had all the paint to do this. so i decided to try it out once again. this time to have the patience with it. im on 5 coats and almost finshed with it. its has turned out well today and im not touching the bottom keeping the bottom gelcoated black. and chad thanks for letting me know about the prop finally got it popped off when i got off the phone with you.

take your time with it and lay a little thick on your last 3 or 4 coats i had to spray a couple spots that were showing through lightly. the thing that is great about this paint is you can spray it after you have painted it. and also the paint matches right up. just wet sand and buff when you have to fix spots and it comes out great. pics will hopefully be up tomorrow when im finished
