If there is any hint of bragging it's about how much I'm willing to give up living wise to help push and get our small sport out there. Obviously I'm not bragging about the way I live, or complaining about it because it's my choice to live the way I do.
I was just simply pointing out the fact that not all people are rich who afford these kind of skis. some of us are just willing to give up the finer things in life if they are that dedicated

Jace is just showing us what a rider with true love for this sport will do! And it shows in his vast improvement in riding! I thought I was struggling by stretching each paycheck to keep my ski running but damn, Jace you make me proud and envious of your heart and desire for this sport!

Yea, no ........

I thought I was dedicated.

Jace, I had no idea. When you are ready to step up to pro freestyle or ready for a full billet engine, you let me know when you are ready for billet cases. I'll make you a deal.

I always try and equally support everyone who runs my products, but I have to say your story has me rooting for you for amateur freestyle this year in Havasu.

That's a awesome offer Brian, hopefully next year I'll be able to step up to pro.
I by no means made that post to get pitty from people. I've just heard it a lot in the past that I'm either rich or parents buy me everything and it gets old hearing it.
...anyways back on topic, I finally got this pipe tuned and the carbs tuned and this PHP 898 is running even better than when it was in those last pics. I also found out I'm only at 180psi domes. Here pretty soon I'm dropping the 230psi domes in with full race gas and this thing will be SCARY=)

Jace, your whole situation is hardcore. You are catching some good air on those flips too! I'm glad you are lovin' your new setup; figured you would. Zack is a great guy and that 900 setup is bad azz! Zack has perfected it over the past few months...it just keeps getting better!

It will be interesting to see what zack/powerhouse performance turns out next year! :sneaky:

The difference in power off the bottom from 180 to 230 will be eye opening.

Jetting will need to be spot on at that level, with little room for error.

Nothing I suppose he will grow up at some point

I'm not sure if you're calling him immature because he's sacrificing everything to follow a dream but if so that's a :):):):)ty thing to say! My body is so broken and damaged from motocross that I'm spending all my money in this sport now because I don't know how long it can take it.

Let people say what they want......at least talk is cheap:)

I seem to recall Joe Kenny was also living a similar lifestyle so he could ride waves all the time....correct me if I am wrong.

I could come up with something witty to say, or something to diss you.
But the simple fact is that if people didn't make sacrifices to either push a sport or follow a dream so many sports would be dead and so many great athletes and other people would never had shined.

You have to also think how many hull builders, engine builders probably went thru the dame thing to design and innovate new products.
I'll stop now because this honestly has nothing to do with this thread

Its a 5 port with a few tricks up it's sleeve;) It was designed to have as wide of powerband as possible, but really shred mid to top. I don't condone doing this but we drag raced and sxr 1200 that gps'd at 63.2mph with Chad mans superfreak and walked it. that was when it had a 144mm solas mag with a 14/19 swirl in it. It had loads of bottom with that setup, but lets you know how hard the upper power can pull. The beautiful part is it's no secret they run off the shelf cr500 pistons with the skirts modified. I designed the sleeve to be safe all the way up to 91mm (937cc's). The cylinders are all made of 7075 billet vs. standard 6065 as strength and cracking is always a concern on high output cylinders. I also use oem Honda wristpins to keep the needle bearings adequate size to not overspeed and burn up. Every surface on the entire setup has been o-ringed...you can throw away old smashed pv gaskets and your threebond;) All fasteners are included with the engine and are all stainless.

Is this Dan's cylinder?

I can assure you Gil, there is nothing this engine has in common with a DASA...I promise you that! I agree the bolt spacing on the head looks similar, but that was only because I had to get rid of the factory head bolts that would be positioned right over the pv. They cause a conflict with the passage the valve slides on otherwise. The unfortunate result of that bolt spacing is the similarity in at a quick glance. Everything on this cylinder kit has been designed from scratch...I have countless numbers of solid works models and unfortunately the bills that accompany that led up to the final product. The domes, the head shell, cylinder, sleeves, pv's, and hardware are all unique to this kit. I Imagine the bellows would be the only universal part as they are on all of these pv cylinders.
