Has there been any write ups on using BEHR or any other brands of paints? Rustolium is pretty limited on colors. Home depot only had (that I saw) black, sliver, white, red, yellow, navy and brown. BEHR (which I realize is for walls) had 200 shades of blue.

Yeah no kidding. And ive been able to find all the colors i need with spray paint. Painted my 550 with 2 cans of white and a can of silver and black and it turned out fine. Good job with the paint :)

No. Spray can paint is not a single stage paint. Its paint with no hardener. Its like spraying a automotive single stage paint with no hardener. It dries, but its not very hard and not oil, fuel, chemical, etc resistant. Clear coating that spoof can job with a real automotive clear will make it last. If you dont it will fade really fast in the sun and the salt will chew on it also. You can just touch it up every once in awhile like so others do here with their spray can jobs.

I do like the design though. Looks good for a spray can job.

That is a roll on enamel paint job, not spray can.

On a side note, would it be possible to mix metal flake into the enamel and roll that on the same way as the regular enamel?

What type of clear coat is good over enamel or isn't it necessary.

I saw and read about the car that was painted with enamel... interesting and affordable alternative to having your ski sprayed at a shop.

Curious as to how it will hold up...
