Now... how do I fix it? Is the problem in the connection, the wiring, or the switch?

if it's the connector you'll see that it doesn't look good and if you wiggle it the connections should work better.

if its the switch and wires you can check it with an ohm meter on the black and white wires at the connector. it should have very little resistance when the button is pressed.

if you have bad resistance or no connection at the connector open up the switch and clean the inside of the buttons.

the wire is rarely the problem

what is the voltage output of the cdi to the coil? I bought my ski used (1991 Superjet w/ 701)... what is the pink wire. It is not connected to anything! rev limiter/temp sensor? i think i am missing parts. thanks everyone.

pink wire was at one point the temp sensor. 75% of people on here probably remove it to run an aftermarket head.

i wAs flushing my ski last night when the hose blew of and i saw a spark jump from the plug to the exaust and now i have no spark i puled the leads of near the ebox and still no spark dose this mean my cdi is blown
