My superjet won't start

While riding, I took a short break and when i tried to turn on the jet ski, it wouldn't start. How should I go about fixing it if i want to fix it myself. I appreciate any help, thanks!

yes, I put in new spark plugs a month ago. initially when I tried starting it, it made a sort of tick sound and the other day when i was trying to start it, it made no sound at all. What else do you think it could be from?

sorry guys, was having some issues that i was dealing with but finally can get back to fixing this thing so thank you so much for your help.

The battery is tight and cables are good. I think i am not sure what it means to crank this. Can you please tell me the steps I need to do to see if it is cranking. THANKS

So I checked the voltage of the battery from the first day this problem happened and it read 12.4V. I checked it again yesterday and same thing. So battery seemed good and alive. I connected cables from my car to the superjet battery to jump it. Nothing happened, no sound, nothing, which led me to believe that it is definitely something else. But, I still decided to remove the battery from the ski and directly connected jumper cables from my car battery to the cables that connect to the battery in the ski and....I finally heard sounds and the ski wanted to start, but still couldn't get it to fire up.

I went to the dealer and got a new battery for $100, and now it fires up! I guess if your voltage meter shows voltage, the battery can still be the problem all along and needs replacement. Thanks to everyone for your replies on this thread.
